The one with... C is for ?

You see sometime last year, I received a call from celc0m informing that I have an outstanding payment due to them.. to which I was like “huh?!” coz I was not even a subscriber.

Long story short, they actually have a number registered under my IC number. But when they asked me “what’s your mother’s name” and “what’s your address”, the answers they got from me were different from what they have in record. Well, obviously.

I said that it was not me who registered the number, so to hell with the outstanding bill. But then they said, “But because it’s your IC number, so ‘legally’ it’s your bill to settle”.

For a while, I lost my word. Like, what the??!!

I was fuming mad, how the heck did they do their work? I mean, aren’t they suppose to verify the original IC? And I’ve not had my IC lost or stolen before. So how the heck did they allow a number to be registered under my IC number then? And didn’t they check whether the picture on the IC is of the same with the person registering???

So I said, “What do I do now? That’s not my number and that’s not my bill and I’ve not used any 019 number before..”

You know what, I was asked to go make police report la, go to celc0m office la, fill in god-knows-what form la, go to commissioner of oath la and whatnots..”..

WHATTTT??! Why must I be the one having to go through all the hassle?? Sigh.

So yes, I chose to ignore. Coz I was like, what’s the worst can happen? Blacklist my name? Go ahead, it’s not like I’m gonna register number with them. After all, the bill was RM177 ONLY. Waheyyyy big deal, really celc0m???!

One year has passed, and out of nowhere, recently I received a lawyer's letter regarding the same matter. And that I have 14 days to respond to it. Are you effing kidding me celc0m? For RM177? Really?

Anyway, being the panicky me, upon receiving the letter I went to lodge for police report right away. But then, after the heat of the moment cooled off, I was like.. gosh. Having to go celc0m and commissioner of oath whatnots, all that require my time ok. My precious working hours time. I have lots other stuff to do if I were to sacrifice my working hours.. like settling the EPF thing for my housing payment, go to open the bank account, get someone to fix my gate, so on and so forth.

Side track: Why all this thing can only be done during office hours?? Why oh why?

So again, this time around, I have decided to ignore… We shall see what’s gonna happen. Wish me luck. Oh ya, has anyone else experience the similar thing? Coz around my circle itself, apparently I’m not alone. Again, how the heck this happens Celc0m? Something’s wrong with your system, dude.

Max1s jugak terbaik di pasaran (this is personal opinion).

Before I end, here are some interesting facts to ponder:

1. How the heck they know my max1s number?

2. How come they know to contact my husband to chase me for the outstanding bill?

3. My IC is showing my parents house address, how come the lawyer's letter is sent to my current house? I have my current house address registered nowhere else in any other formal documentation, except for of course, the housing loan purposes. Other than that, all my corresponding mails are my parent’s house address; I’ve not changed that even after I moved out.

Weird much? I have no idea (-_-')

The one with... this is how i do it #2.

Read here for post #1.

Because some people have actually asked, so this time around, I would like to share with you how did I manage it whenever I had to go for outstation. I just got back from Hanoi for my second trip, and today I still feel tired from the journey. Tsk. Signs of aging.

Again, I would like to make it clear that this is how I do it.. Others might have some other efficient / better ways to do too.. So if you know any other tips, sharing is caring pleaseeee :)

Anyway, straight to subject matter.

So I bought this styrofoam box from Carrefour and it has been useful for all my outstation trips. And I can fit this into my luggage bag as well (medium to large size with extended storage size on top) coz for international flight, you cant be bringing liquids of more than certain MLs as hand luggage. I know there are procedures if you want to, but I dont want to go through the hassle.

When reach hotel, I will pass my icepacks (usually I'll bring 3-4 icepacks) and get them to put in the freezer. Unless if I was put in the suite / apartment type of room whereby they have the 2-door fridge. Otherwise, the small 1-door fridge in those standard / superior type of room won't be able to keep the icepacks frozen properly. Normally the hotel will be accomodating to this need of yours, all you have to tell them is your name and your room number. And there's this one time whereby the hotel I was staying at did not have a kitchen, so what I did is I asked for a favour from the person managing the convenient store at the hotel lobby, to put my icepacks inside their ice-cream freezer. Yes, anything for my baby! and yes, you have to be creative mommies!

Oh, 1 important thing to note here. Please1000x be sure that you make yourself clear that the icepacks are to be put in FREEZER so that they FREEZE.. not in the normal fridge for COOLING purposes. Coz TWICE I've had experience whereby I almost had a heart-attack when they passed me the melted-but-cold icepacks to me (!!!!). Lucky it was not on the day I had to travel back coz otherwise how to transport my EBM back??? So, if possible, insist to follow them to see where do they put your icepacks at.

During my stay, all my EBM will be put in the fridge inside my room. I don't want to freeze my EBM coz I don't want to take chances that my EBM is thawed along the way of them being transported back. As you know, frozen EBM, once thawed, must be used within 24 hours. And once thawed, you cannot freeze 'em back. Oh and of course this is only do-able if you travel max 5D4N coz EBM can be kept at the chilling / cooling fridge temperature for a period that long only. And so far I've not travelled more than 4D3N.. so I have no idea actually how to deal with the EBM then.. Hmmm.

So on the day I need to travel back, I will arrange my EBM + icepacks together.. and sealed the box off. And THAT's ALL. InsyaAllah, with such a good intention, everything will be taken care off by Him the Almighty. For me, I only fear the risks of the EBM getting spilled off the bottles. So I always make sure the caps of the bottles are tight. And I tried to not to use storage bags.

In terms of the chilling / cooling effect, as long as the icepacks are all frozen up, then you have nothing to worry about. So far from experience, for 6-7 hours journey the EBM were still chilled and the icepacks were half way melted only.

At the airport, we cant opt for sticker or anything of sort that says "facing up" (correct me if I'm wrong..). All they can offer is to seal 'FRAGILE' at your bag. How fragile they are going to treat the bag? Really, I dont know. But alhamdulillah for my almost 10 times of travelling, I managed to fly back my EBM safe and sound....

Upon reaching home, normally the first thing I did was, put all the EBM in the frigde / freezer (depends on the need and 'expiry date'). And then only off I went to hug my most missed K's..! ;P

So hope this helps. All the best! :)

Another useful post by a bf mother on the same topic -

The one with... Khayr at 1yr and 1m.o ♥

*baru ternampak I have this saved in my draft.

Khayr is 13months today! Some significant milestones:

1. Very active. Suka main. Dah pandai panjat gelongsor sendiri. Bawak dia pegi playground memang berbaloi2 la penat nye.. ;)

2. Jalan dah makin stabil, kira dah masuk fasa berlari dah...

3. Dah pandai grab tangan kita, and tarik.. trying to indicate that he wants to go to other places / to do something else.

4. Makin suka main dengan toy cars yang kecik2 tu..

5. Show interests on cartoons (before this he did not bother much)..

6. Master his skills to drink from a cup / via straw.. Tapi kadang2 tu tersedak jugak laaa..

7. Quite clingy still. Suka laaa nak melepek kat hujung kaki mama dia.. (-_-')

8. Masih fully breastfeed. Makan banyak. On top of his standard meal time, he will take bits and pieces of the adults food as well.

9. Likes to 'talk' a lot, but the words he utters are all gibberish still.. :D

Ok itu je some of the significant ones I can think of now. Till the next updates on his milestones~*
