Anyway I'm pretty much getting the hang of it already -- life with the husband, baby and workload in it, I mean. And this week, I've started to include cooking back into the routine. But of course not everyday (yet) lah. Kerol and I have had enough with outside food already *bleurghhh*. A sardine-omelette-fried vege meal -- though very basic and simple -- can be very satisfying simply because it's home-cooked.. *nice!*
Butttttt, macam agak susah jugak ye nak make cooking become part of the daily life. Because it all depends on the baby. Kalau balik kerja tu dia macam meragam nak attention.. then nak menyusu and all.. Dengan penat nye lagi.. By the time nak start masak, dah lambat sangat pulak.. Nanti nak kena cuci pinggan2 and whatnot lepas masak + makan... Hmmm.. I mean, I'm not complaining here.. Seriously I want to be a good wife to hubby who cooks dinner for him, and at the same time be a good mother to Khayr who attends to his needs regardless. Because during weekdays, I only get to spend time with him only upon returning back home from office. tsk.
So out of curiousity I'm just wondering how the other working mothers deal with this ya? Korang sempat masak tak waktu balik kerja? Who knows, you can motivate me that I can do this too. huhu. Or otherwise, you can let me know that what I feel is actually normal.
Khayr is 3 months old already, going 4 soon. And my marriage is reaching it's 1 year milestone in 9 days time. Woo hoo! Talking about how fast time flies huh?
Khayr has shown so much progress since he was born, in fact there are just too many for me to even list them out one by one here. But among the obvious ones, he's learning to roll over his body now. So funny to see him putting his best effort with the "urghhhh" "arghhhh" sounds.. hehehe. Go baby go!
He also likes to 'yell' with a different kind of tones, testing his vocal I think. Baru sedar and rasa best ada suara agaknye.. Hehe.. Seronok sangat 'menyembang' dengan baby, sampai kadang2 boleh bring tears of joy to me sebab terlalu terharu.. :P I have recorded a video of him 'membebel2' in his own very cute way, but I don't know how to post it up here.. Hmmm.
And another thing, he has started to show interest on watching TV, especially cartoons and advertisements. In the middle of struggling to roll over his body or crying to ask for attention, he can immediately stop and remained quiet for some time with his eyes fixed on the screen.. :)
So wanting to make full use of my *ahem* new phone, I downloaded all those free baby-related applications -- flash cards, songs, and such. And Khayr seems to love it, especially the ABC song, twinkle2 lil star song, and flash cards on animals with sound..
- 1 page specially dedicated just for those applications :) -
- baby Khayr getting leka with the ABC song, giving ample time for his mama and abah to get ready to go to work in the morning ;) -
His sleeping pattern has become more routine already, especially at night. But he will still wake up 3 / 4 hourly for his feeding.
Oh and it got me worried initially when I found out that once entering his 3rd month of life, Khayr has no longer poopoo everyday.. not even once in 2-3 days. But once / twice in 5-6 days! Sekali datang, mak aiii.. explosive I tell you.. Hehe.. Anyway I learnt that for a fully bf baby, that's normal. As long as the baby is happy, gaining weight, and not cranky, then there's nothing to be worried. *phew* :)
Eh tiba2 terbuat list pulak about his progress.. Huhu.. (actually a mother can just go on and on and on when it comes to the baby kan? :P)Alritey, I better stop now. Want to go for lunch, then focus on work with the hope time will pass by so quick it's the end of office hour already!
Happy friday people and enjoy your weekend! Till later~*
